Hamilton Performs Phelps-like Angling Feat at Bundoran

dh-bass7.JPGAll Bundoran Farm’s known historic angling records were shattered yesterday by David Hamilton.  An avid fisherman and occaisional Project Manager, David recently put the lie to the moniker “Lake Inferior,” by reeling in eight bass in forty minutes.  Using only his trusty Kmart rod and undisclosed bait, Hamilton’s terrific run brought to mind similar achievements at the recent Beijing Olympics, at least to Hamilton.  “It was like a fishing show on OLN,” remarked Hamilton, “except without the editing.” The attached photo shows bass number 7, but according to Hamilton, the others were certainly much larger.  “The fish ranged from gigantic to genuinely terrifying in scale and fight,” says Hamilton.  Thankfully, the catch-and-release policy on Lake Inferior leaves the fish in play for future residents of Bundoran Farm.  Hamilton has expressed willingness to defend his title against any Bundoran resident who wishes to engage in a one-hour fishing derby.  “My pond, my rules,” bellowed Hamilton, “…no rod that cost more than twelve dollars, and one gummy worm per contestant.”
