Today was marked by Lucas and Jon leaving–much to all of our sorrow and sense of loss. They have been nonpareil in their enthusiasm and dedication to this project–and I feel bereft without them.On the other hand–today was also marked by the arrival of my beloved wife–who returned with me here–after my son’s graduation–for the next couple of weeks.
Today the crew finished (well, almost) the window trim, and we installed the huge doors and got the bridge porch roof framed. The stairs were also finished yesterday but as a creature of habit I am still walking around the building to the ramp to go upstairs…sigh…this may take a while.
We are looking forward to buttoning up hopefully by the middle of next week.
