We finished the floor today except for the last few feet in that we ran out of material which is on its way from Vermont this Friday….the first truck was overloaded and they mistakenly pulled off a small unit for flooring with the roofing and siding…sigh…oh well…at least it makes for a good story.

The guys ran me like crazy today–I cut and carried 189 pieces of T&G spruce decking from the saw in the driveway to the building and leaned the long boards against the floor system and threw the short board up onto the deck…they ran their nailers hot today and got it down with no respite…it was supposed to rain but just stayed wet…God was merciful.

I was pretty cranky with too much on my plate with phone calls and some other job problems to solve–but it got better as the day wore on and the crew wore me out–took all my energy just to keep up…thanks guys….I feel the love… O:-)
