I need to learn that I should always carry my camera while out at Bundoran Farm. You just never know what spectacular site you might see and want to capture.
Yesterday, while loading up a car with cardboard to take to the local recycling center, an Osprey with a fish in its talons that it had just been scooped out of the adjacent Lake Inferior came swooping over our heads. Quite a remarkable event and one of the many one can experience at Bundoran Farm.

I just wish the above photo was one I had taken, and not one I pulled off the internet.

HOW CLOSE TO BUNDORAN ARE SUPERMARKETS , THEATRE,HEALTH CLUB ETC-
Hi Bill. This is David Hamilton, Project Manager. I live on the farm with my family. For simple things (loaf of bread, late-night snack) we go to either the Batesville Store (2 mi.) or Crossroads (<1 mi.). Also at Crossroads is an excellent pizza joint, bank, doctors, etc.), and Batesville has excellent lunch. For regular grocery shopping, we go to Barracks Road, which is less than 15 minutes from the farm. For a nice dinner and movie out, we often go to downtown Charlottesville (again, 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic), though Crozet is closer (3 good restaurants). Please feel free to call me at our office to learn more about the area. (434) 295-3700.
